Senior Embedded Software Developer to Sigma Connectivity (USA)

The Software design department within Sigma Connectivity is expanding and now we are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Developer with placement in Silicon Valley, USA, at one of Sigma Connectivity’s global customers.
About the position
For this role we are looking for a senior developer who has worked with embedded systems for several years, probably in different parts of the system and in different roles. In your daily work you are contributing to new as well as further development of system solutions. In addition, you will implement solutions based on proposals and demands from customers in all the phases of the ongoing project. You are a good communicator and appreciate working with different contact surfaces on a daily basis. Based in USA you will work with cutting edge technology with some of the most talented developers and testers.
Technical environment
We work with different kinds of technologies in where you will have the capacity to use your creativity to solve challenges using the most efficient solutions in which you will grow your experience and work with focus on the following technologies: Embedded C/C++, Real-time operating systems, Android frameworks, connectivity standards such as Bluetooth, ZigBee, NFC and Wi-Fi, as well as debuggers like J-Link, ST-Link, IAR Embedded Workbench as well as measuring instruments like oscilloscope and logic analysers.
Who are you?
You have several years of experience in embedded system working with C/C++ and open source tools like Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins. We believe that you are flexible, sociable, communicative and enjoy a multicultural environment. As part of your responsibilities as a developer at Sigma Connectivity, you will interact with teams that are situated in Silicon Valley. This will require you to be physically present with your team in the U.S. We require you to be fluent in English (speech & writing) and have a Swedish citizenship to be able to apply for this role.
