Senior Embedded Software Engineer

The Role
The Koenigsegg embedded team is responsible for designing and developing software and electronics for the in-vehicle infotainment system, electronic control units (ECU) and supporting tools. We are working very closely with the other engineering departments, production and service/aftersales. We are now looking to expand our RTOS team with a skilled and experienced platform software engineer with the ability to transform product requirements and production needs to state of the art solutions and further advance the embedded system technologies in our cars.
The responsibilities associated with this position put a strong requirement on your ability to cooperate with other departments in other technical domains. The development activities are primarily focused on the infotainment system.
Responsibilities
Architect, develop and implement features for our in-house developed ECUs
Participate in defining functional specifications, high-level architecture and design for the platform software components and their interaction models with well-defined APIs.
Participate in the assessment of technical designs, feasibility concepts, and planning process.
Participate and take lead in debugging and profiling activities related to the platform.
Develop and continuously improve the diagnostic content for the system
Support our production and service departments
Work with an agile cross-functional team of hardware engineers, application/UI software engineers, QA/Validation, and designers
Participate in the development of our way of working
Requirements
Proven in-depth experience in real-time operating systems development
Proficient in low-level and high-level embedded Linux programming (C & C++)
Proven experience with one or many SoC vendors such as NXP, Infineon, TI, etc
Proficient with micro-controller IDE design/development tools
Experience with Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS)
Experience with CAN, SPI, I2C, SDIO, PCIe, Ethernet protocols
Ability to follow circuit schematics and PCB layout drawings.
Experience in standard lab equipment such as power analyzer, oscilloscopes, frequency response analyzer to use for validating and debugging software and hardware.
Automotive experience
Fluency in English (Swedish is not a requirement).
Experience with Agile development process (Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Jira, CI/CD)
Desire and ability to work in a multi-tasking and highly dynamic environment
High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance
Good to have
Experience designing complex fault-tolerant safety systems in accordance with industry standard specifications (e.g., ISO26262, ASPICE)
Experience in building security-focused platforms
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash
Experience in QNX is a merit
Experience in hardware design
Willingness to learn new technologies
