Senior Embedded Software Technical Leader (IoT)

This is a position for you who are a senior developer, but most of all have a burning interest for wireless communication and embedded programming. In this role, you will be the technical leader for a specific chip-set firmware and the related u-blox software.
Our product is u-connectXpress software, which enables our customers Internet of Things end products to be connected.
You have an engineering education in software design and embedded hardware as well as experience of Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth communication. You will be part of a dedicated software embedded team at u-blox in Malmö Västra Hamnen.
We are working with applications, above the low-level Wi-Fi or Bluetooth drivers, based on MQTT, TLS, TCP/IP, as well as cloud services, security ciphers, indoor-positioning, secure storage/boot, device management, firmware over the air and machine learning.
You are a self-going individual with a positive attitude and a drive to take on challenging task, the team will support you, as you will support your team members. Your Responsibilities
Technical leader for an agile team
Being the expert on the chip-set vendors software platform
Interfacing the external chip-set vendor for software issues
Developing in C and test automating in C#
Supporting project planning in an agile environment 
Writing technical specifications
Contributing to architectural decisions and the software roadmap 
Contributing to definition of project specifications
Supporting project managers during project planning and execution
Taking part in system architecture and design work

Your Skills and Experience 
Master or Bachelor of Science in software engineering 
Wireless communication knowledge in general, Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi in particular
Experience in C programming of embedded, real-time systems 
Excellent knowledge of software development for embedded systems, software quality and tools
Flexible team player
Good interpersonal and communication skills
English communication and technical writing
Holder of a Swedish work permit
