The Global Technology Area - Verification & Validation (GTA V&V) is driving several major activities within the Autonomous Driving development chain including integration, system verification, data analytics and transport mission. Safe and seamless operation of Autonomous vehicles is a challenging task and the System Verification team within GTA V&V is playing a key role in ensuring it.

We are a small but passionate and effective team that is stronger than the sum of its parts and ready to tackle the big challenges we have ahead of us. We are looking for your support and contribution to ensure the quality of our Autonomous Driving (AD) system.


What will you do and how will you make an impact?


As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for the verification and validation of autonomous driving nodes on both sub-system and system levels. Utilizing your expertise, you will play an active role in reviewing design specifications and requirements, crafting comprehensive test cases, analyzing results, and producing thorough reports. Your scope of work will encompass functional and framework testing, verifying the base technology functionality such as software downloads, diagnostics, communication of different interfaces for the system under test (SUT).

You will communicate and document results through internal reporting tools and provide feedback during product review meetings. You will also actively contribute to defining necessary enablers for operations, such as HiL rigs and automation frameworks, which will be provided by the Infrastructure teams. Throughout the process, you will expand your network and collaborate closely with Infrastructure providers and system designers.

Qualifications:
A background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field, and solid experience in verification of embedded software.
Proficient experience in communication protocols like CAN & Ethernet and have good skills in Vector tools (like CANoe, CANalyser), CAPL, Python, Shell, Git.
Some experience with testing on HiL rigs, boxcar/boxtruck or bench setups, both manually and through automation.

We would be happy if you have:
Knowledge of functional safety standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 13849, and FMEA
Prior experience with requirement management tools (such as Jama, SystemWeaver, Doors) and an understanding of system engineering practices.
Experience with test automation framework.
Previous experience in verification of safety critical ECUs and functions.
