You will
Be responsible for battery cell development alongside our team members. Our team of specialists and you are responsible for building world class development of battery cell technology. You support cell selection and development in current series development projects and product improvements. You will work closely with our battery system groups by helping to select cells and balancing requirements and steering the cell development towards fulfillment of technical requirements. You are a part of a cross-functional network internally and work closely with our key suppliers. You have a good view of our competitors and future technology development in cell design and manufacturing. You enjoy being in the forefront of technology and create a large network with the best players In cell development and research globally. You are open and positive and like to lead technology and people. With us, you need to be a team player as part of a high performing team. You like to develop new ways to work.
Skills
Has been involved in a full cycle battery cell development process from A to market.
Experienced with compiling technical requirements for battery cell and requirement management towards fulfilling according to maturity time plan
Effective in the development of components with complex system integration
Comfortable and well versed working with OEM or battery cell supplier development processes
Communicate effectively and an ability to address people and groups at different level in the organization
Effectively drive changes to grow the abilities to excel in products, way of working and technical knowledge
Agile and be able to see the big picture, identify the objectives, set priorities and support the teams and individuals by removing obstacles.
Fluent in English - verbal and written
You are also
Innovative and hold a master’s degree or PhD in Physics, chemistry, Electro-chemistry, Material Science or similar education or equivalent experience
Proven experience and fluency with at least 5 years of industrial experience of battery cell development within OEM or within battery cell supplier
Experience in IP management, requirement setting and supplier management
Truly engaged and committed cell engineer. Interested to learn and expand your skills, particularly in the area of battery technology, emerging, and diverse approached
Interested and comfortable to work in an Agile way
You also speak and write fluently in English.
