About us
At Electrical Performance we focus on customer benefit throughout the service life of the car with respect to reliability, safety and cost-of-ownership related to the electrical system. We develop and benchmark internal requirements for electrical systems and components, and we also participate in international standardization working groups. We give technical support to function, system and component owners during the development phase and we verify, mainly on complete vehicle.
What you’ll do
As part of one of the agile teams within Electrical Performance, you will work mainly with electronics in all phases during the product development, supporting the system and component developers in technical questions with your expertise within design of electronics, and contributing in balancing the product and reporting the status of the projects. You will also take part in the long term development of the attribute and the requirements.
You are expected to be curious and interested to learn about other aspects regarding product development – although electrical performance is your expertise area – and to always keep the end-customer’s benefit in focus.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a M.Sc. in Electronics, Physics or similar and you must have long, at least 5 years, and recent experience in designing electronic hardware. You have a good general understanding about electronics and a strong analytical capacity. You want to broaden you scope but still keep a deep and detailed technical focus. Experience of analyzing electrical performance on component, system or complete vehicle is valuable, specifically of evaluating thermal risks or electrical component lifetime aspects. Experience of car development is a merit, and you probably have a driving license. Knowledge about tools such as FMEA, 6 and root cause analysis is also a merit. You need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken. You are interested in taking part in our journey towards both new products and new ways of working!
