Senior Engineer/Coordinator

Job Description
Design of Power Propulsion & Converter equipment such as Converter boxes, Enclosures, IP boxes. Creating Manufacturing drawings for Part models, Sheet Metal parts, Sub-assemblies and Assemblies as per BT Standards in Enovia (VPM & PDM). Applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD & T) for the drawings.  Creating Bill of Materials and Weld lists in Product Data Management (PDM). Change Management for Bill of Materials and drawings. Performing quality check for the drawings created to meet BT Standards. Investigation & Execution of ERs’ as per the MRs’. Writing ER’s as per project requirements. Involving in ECR discussions with customer. Creating new revisions, modification of 3D models & drawings (where required). Modification of standard parts for 3D assemblies as per New A4-70 fasteners. Updating the balloon item nos. with new reference nos. Updating the drawing & BOM in PDM. Coordinating with the customer and offshore team.
Requirements
Applicant should have 8+ years of experience in working with Power propulsion Converters for Mainline & Metros. Should have worked earlier with 3D design for converter boxes and enclosures using CATIA Enovia, VPM, PDM. Involved in Investigation & Execution of ERs’ as per the MRs’. Good knowledge of process flow for MR - ER related tasks. Should be well versed with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD & T) for the drawing. Knowledge of Manufacturing drawings for Part models, Sheet Metal parts, Sub-assemblies and Assemblies as per BT Standards. Able to Create Bill of Materials and Weld lists in Product Data Management (PDM). Change Management for Bill of Materials and drawings
