Sinch Operator Software & Services creates software products for mobile operator network infrastructure and services, providing efficient and scalable solutions for messaging, charging & policy control, revenue assurance and fraud prevention. These products form the foundation for many of Sinch's offerings but are also sold to and used by many of the major mobile network operators as stand-alone products.
The essence of the role
Join our Operator Software & Service team as our Senior Engineering Manager in Stockholm. In this role, you'll be a crucial part of our engineering organization, focusing primarily on supporting your team members in their career development, recruiting new talent, organizing activities to boost retention, and fostering an environment where teams and individuals can thrive, while being accountable for delivering results.
You will lead highly experienced software product teams that develop Sinch telecom products for messaging, charging and policy control.
As our Senior Engineering Manager, you will:
Lead team staffing and recruitment, capacity planning, onboarding, offboarding, and coordinating promotions.
Collaborate with tech and product leadership to ensure your team have the right tools, skills, and processes.
Facilitate discussions, encourage embracing change, and foster open communication to resolve conflicts.
Support individual team members in career development, mentoring them to become our future leaders, and promoting cross-training to enhance team resilience.
Provide insights into team performance and stakeholder perception, particularly management and business stakeholders.
Maintain awareness of team-stakeholder relationships, addressing any issues impacting collaboration.
Actively work with employee engagement data to create motivated teams.
