WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a functional leader that can bring us to the next step in environmental responsibility. A stellar Environment Specialist with established EMS experience, and that has experience of LCA and GHG inventory. 

Another key area for the role, is to run and develop our management system for environment in cross-functional teams, as well as monitor and implement new legislation across the whole business. Given our fast-paced growth, our global ambitions, and our disruptive technology, this role will require determination and grit combined with an outstanding “attention to details- and observation” ability. You have excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills. You are goal oriented, curious, and eager to learn and you are of course fluent in English.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have professional EMS experience in manufacturing industry, preferably from chemical or pharmaceutical industry. You will be able to make an impact for real, on our journey to success. Our organization requires and values self-discipline and a natural talent to make things happen.

• Deep knowledge in LCA and understanding of carbon footprint (GHG)
• Deep understanding of legal guidelines in the EMS
• Experience of ESG reporting
• Deep knowledge in the requirements of ISO 14001
• Ability to communicate guidelines to a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural workforce
• Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Senior Environmental specialist you will make sure that our environmental work meets the highest standards and complies with the legislation and internal standards. This role offers both hands-on work in our daily operations as well as tactical work within the cross-functional forums at Exeger. You do not wait for others to act, rather, you lead the way. With a high say – do ratio, you own decisions made and articulate the direction, goals, and priorities from a holistic perspective. We are looking for you, a natural functional leader, with a hands-on attitude that inspire others to improve how they think and act. You will be responsible for our LCA and GHG reporting, to identify and together with core team and ambassadors drive improvements to reach our environmental goals. 


• Train and advise staff and management concerning site evaluations, permitting, field inspections, and investigations.
• Develop and execute carbon footprint calculations and EMS plans.
• Conduct coaching and training of the organization regarding our environmental work and goals and continuous improvements.
• Facilitate EMS audits and inspections (owned by the business) and act as center of excellence to support delivery of action plans.
• Perform EMS internal revisions.
• Provide periodic management reports, e.g. LCA and carbon footprint reports.
• Report environmental awareness, issues and statistics.
• Member of Exeger Quality Team and representative in EMS related forums.
