What’s in it for you?
Our mission is to secure that we create the best possible prerequisites for the development and manufacturing of stamping processes globally. 

We are looking for a member that will work with our new stamping facility VCK (Volvo Cars in Kosice, Slovakia). VCK is a green field project where we build a completely new car plan including stamping. 
The employment will be in Olofström, but during the installation of the equipment in Kosice either a move to Kosice or a travel with longer stays on site will be required.

 If you are interested to join the creation of Volvo Cars Stamping future, you shall apply it will be a very developing and interesting journey where you will develop your network and technical skills.

What you’ll do  
You will be part of a team that will develop and build the new stamping plant in Kosice in Slovakia. As a senior equipment engineer you are in general responsible for the process design, specify equipment, have responsibility for the technical sections in the procurement process, install and verify equipment’s and secure that deliveries are according to the plan.

The unique opportunity now, is that we will build a completely new stamping shop in Europe and that was very long time ago since this happened last time. Now you have the chance to be part of a team that will build a completely new efficient stamping production facility. 

The largest investment is the new press line, but the work will include Overhead cranes, Scrap belt, equipment for maintenance etc. everything needed to operate a stamping facility.  

Do you fit the profile?
We believe you:
•    Have B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent competence.
•    Have experience from equipment and / or automotive projects.
•    Have experience in Project management
•    Have experience in problem solving.

You have also more specific competence regarding 
•    Stamping Press (mechanical and electrical)
•    Automation equipment such as Robots, Overhead cranes, AGV systems, Industry 4.0 … 
•    Process Simulate, Process design (Siemens)
•    AutoCAD 
•    CatiaV5 
•    Have good communication skills in English both spoken and written.

•    Drives result, you can deliver even with unclear conditions.
•    You are enthusiastic, having abilities to build long-term relationships as well as be responsive to the needs of both colleagues and customers.
•    You are a structured person who plans and aligns and have good documentation skills 
•    You have ability to relocate to Kosice for some years
