The section Plant Facility Management in VCT is a dedicated team with the purpose to support and provide functional and inspiring facilities, as well as soft services such as food, cleaning, and receptions/guarding.
This also includes ongoing and coming projects, to secure and build new factories and facilities within the plant.

What you'll do

We are now looking for a Senior Facility Manager who will be responsible for the FM works within the Torslanda plant in Gothenburg.

Your work will be organized within Plant Maintenance & Facilities department, collaboration with other departments and colleagues, and having the independence to lead is important. To help you with daily tasks you have a team of 12 persons such as group manager for projects, FM managers for Hard and Soft Services, administrators, as well as a large group of Project Manager consultants.

Your main responsibilities are:

To make sure all FM daily operations run smooth and without disturbances. For example, media distribution, including electrical grid (high/low voltage), building function, heat, ventilation etc. Outdoor environment, snow clearance, green and black areas etc. Soft services, such as cleaning, receptions, furniture, postal services etc. Local security including guards, safety perimeter, access cards, cameras etc.  

To make sure all ongoing building projects are running smoothly, to project manage and investigate issues, with early involvement to implement and execute it well. To coordinate and convener for plant CMT (Crisis Management Team).
To develop procedures, targets and activities to improve performance and resource efficiency in the plant within the FM field. In addition, establish good communication with management teams as well as production teams, which is especially important in this challenging production environment. Participate in internal and external networks, to make FM considerations part of the daily work and based on this open opportunities for development of facilities performance.

In case of an major accident or incident (fire, natural hazard, power failure), coordinate necessary actions and report promptly according to applicable routines. Act proactively, search for possible issues within the plant and be able to get support from multiple stakeholders to find the most efficient solutions. Participate in the factory projects to incl FM considerations and that the best possible FM standards are used in new installations.

Your skills

•    University degree from relevant studies or equivalent knowledge gained elsewhere
•    Experience from working with Facility Management for at least 5-10 years. 
•    Experience from manufacturing is meritorious 
•    Leadership skills and ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders 
•    Experience with leading through leaders
•    Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken 
•    Driving license "B"
