At Hiab Customer Innovation Center, located in picturesque Hudiksvall, nearly 100 employees are working the front lines of tomorrows technology of loader cranes. With modern facilities, and a topnotch lab they can both construct, test and validate new products for customers all over the world. Hiab’s control systems consist of hydraulics, electronics, and software algorithms, that combines to create their complex loader crane system.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a software feature engineer, you will be responsible of developing new features for the cranes in MATLAB/Simulink, providing the requirement specification regarding the software. Your work involves all the steps from initial requirements to validation on the real product in the lab on site.


* Develop new crane features from requirements to implementation via their Hardware and Human-in-the-loop simulators.
* Be a part of the process from beginning to end, seeing the product through modelling, testing/simulating and validating on real cranes.


VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Engineering degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) within software, computer or electrical engineering, mechatronics, applied physics or equivalent
* At least 3 years of experience in embedded systems development
* At least 3 years of experience of function development
* Good knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink
* Fluent in English, regarding both speech and writing, with a will to learn Swedish
