Are you our new Senior Feature Owner for Autonomous Emergency Braking?
Arriver™ is a new software unit and brand, fully focused on developing perception, fusion and drive policy software for the next generation cars. It will deliver an open, scalable and flexible architecture solution running on Qualcomm® Snapdragon Ride™ System on a Chip (SoC) platform. Arriver™ has 800 people in five countries - China, Germany, Romania, Sweden, USA - and builds on more than a decade of experience in active safety software development. The company is wholly owned by Veoneer.
In Sweden we are situated in Linkoping, Stockholm and Gothenburg with around 400 colleagues.
What you'll do?
We are looking for a Senior Feature Owner, specialized in Feature and SW development, working in the Active Safety domain with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB). You will be our senior AEB technical expert with deep ADAS and automotive expertise.
We are looking for someone who is purpose-driven, curious, a team-player and with strong leadership skills, that will strengthen our development organization for ongoing and upcoming global ADAS SW platforms.
As a Feature Owner you will be responsible for the product roadmap, both executing the current roadmap and planning for future functionality and performance. You are also responsible for the product performance and V&V plan.
You will be the leader of a global team of Feature Owners within AEB and will be working in close collaboration with scrum teams, product owner as well as with other teams within Arriver. You will also be interacting with our customers and application projects when agreeing and aligning AEB product scope and requirements.
We have several interesting customer projects ongoing and more to come. For the right candidate there is a chance to make a big impact on Arrivers future products and platform.
Your daily work in the platform development team will consist of e.g:
- Plan feature roadmap and feature verification plan, both for current and future products
- Communicate and negotiate on a technical level with customers and application teams
- Ensuring requirement breakdown is being performed and verified, and that traceability is ensured
- Ensuring performance KPI´s and performing data analyses
- Ensure that technical risk analyses like FTA and FMEA is being performed
- Own the feature functionality and functional safety concept to be defined, implemented, and verified.
- Define and participate in vehicle testing of the feature
- Support RFI/RFQ activities
- Participate in Global Technology Community to share best practice and define way of working
What you'll bring:
To succeed in this position, we think you have:
- a Master of Science in Computer or Electrical Engineer or equivalent area
- a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience of ADAS feature development, preferably with focus on AEB
- previous technical leadership experience
- experience of requirement-based development of safety critical SW (Automotive SPICE and ISO26262)
- experience with requirement management tools like Systemweaver, codeBeamer or similar
- excellent co-ordination & communication skills with special focus on communication with remote global teams.
In addition, you are result oriented and are used to work independently and lead others towards common goals. You have ability to build good and constructive relations within the team and with the customers.
You can stand your ground but at the same time you are responsive and strive to maintain a good relationship. You enjoy being involved in many discussions with various customers and stakeholders and have many challenging topics on your plate - at the same time!
You are fluent in English and preferably Swedish.
