We are looking for a bright, engaging, curious leader to join the Cytiva finance team, reporting to the CFO, Bioprocess.
With over 500 highly skilled associates, the Bioprocess R&D organization plays a pivotal role in deploying cutting-edge technology to enhance and expand our product portfolio.
What you’ll do
You will become the business partner to the research & development organization with the following responsibilities:
Governance and process improvement: use project management, IT and Danaher Business System tools to improve financial and operational processes, enable process consistency across Cytiva and best practice sharing across business units.
Capital allocation: run an efficient, integrated budgeting process that allocates capital based on future revenue growth opportunities and returns.
Cost management: aptly manage the R&D costs, with accurate project cost accounting, forecasting and driving visibility to each project, team and department.
Project performance: drive visibility to project progress vs. original commitments, with accountability for promises made and a focus on Return On Investment
You will receive the support of a dedicated associate in our financial Centre of Excellence in India and be responsible for their coaching, daily management and professional growth.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field
A finance expert with 5 or more years of relevant experience
Bring prior experience in the project costing & accounting
Well versed in lean/DBS principles, tools and methodologies
A proven sponsor of process discipline and organization
Possess strong oral and written communication skills
An opinionated, visible leader, not shy to challenge the status quo
