12 manufacturing sites in Sweden, Norway, USA and Mexico.
Dina arbetsuppgifter
The IPT Financial Controller is the senior finance lead for the Integrated Program Team (IPT) and a
key business partner to the Program Directors, Program Managers and the Customer Financial
Director.
The IPT Financial Controller has primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing,
managing and controlling all financial related activities for the Space programs and its respective
contracts.
Tasks:
* Responsible for reporting financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results such as
the monthly closing of the books, analyzing variances and developing improvements for the
IPT programs.
* For space you are also responsible for any bookings that need to be done for the month end
close. (i.e PoC for projects, grants, movement between accounts, reservations (penatlies or
other) and similar.
* Responsible for cash forecasting and follow
* Keep track of overdue payments and initiate collection actions.
* Ensure that financial figures are reported timely and correct by monitoring financial
performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions to minimize the
impact of variances.
* Make financial judgments for the program and ensure that these are correct, complete and
transparent and reflected accurately in the local books and records by the relevant site
teams.
* Coordinate performance analysis of actual as well as forecasted, budgeted and strategically
planned financial figures for the programs and explain variances between them.
* Deploy robust and accurate financial analysis including forecasting processes and procedures
within the IPT.
* Provide key management information and analysis to make business decisions to help drive
business performance improvement particular margin enhancement and cash generation.
* Work closely to the COE controller and Program Financial Controller at GAS to support the
Space programs.
* Responsible for supporting external and internal financial audits for the programs, ensuring
that support material is auditable.
* Together with the IPT-team support follow-up on business cases.
* Identify, assess and communicate risks and exposures and develop measures to effectively
mitigate these on a timely basis.
* Identify risks and opportunities in forecasts and business cases.
* Work with continuous improvements within the finance community and the IPT team.
* Responsible for customer contact in financial issues.
* Support the IPT team in business negotiations with the customers.
* Create sales orders, develop supporting documents for invoices, create invoices.

* Clear understanding of relevant technical accounting framework
Desirable:
* Good understanding of the Aerospace industry & Governmental customers
* Proven track record of team building or people development
* Experience working with SAP
