Within Global Finance Delivery, you will be a key contributor to the creation of the next generation Finance community. You will in cooperation with the team develop and implement smart and agile finance processes and tools to support the business in the best way as well as providing accounting expertise.

The NSC Accounting team is a part of the Northern European Cluster which is responsible for the accounting and reporting for the plants, NSC’s, Affiliates etc. within the region. NSC Accounting works with NSCs in Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Finland and Norway.


What you’ll do
* Responsible for serving our National Sales Companies (NSCs) in Northern Europe with high quality and efficiency in accounting and reporting and support the business in the area of accounting.
* Fully understand a National Sales Companies business needed for your area of responsibility and be able to translate complex business events into financial reporting and accounting in line with local GAAP as well as IFRS.
* Responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities within the area of responsibility and with confidence drive analysis and reporting of actual figures.
* Participate in projects related to accounting models as well as implementing changes in existing processes, and other ad hoc projects.
* Develop a strong network by close collaboration with local NSCs as well as the teams in Global Finance Delivery operations.



Do you fit the profile?
To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for accounting, and you need to have a desire and drive for change and be comfortable with challenging existing processes and mind-sets. You have very good understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation such as IFRS and local GAAP and a university degree in Finance or equivalent. Your analysis capabilities are strong, and you possess abilities to grasp the big picture. To be successful in this role you need to be curious, proactive and have the ability to prioritize in order to deliver on commitments.

If you have experience working in SAP and Hyperion FM it’s an advantage. More important is that you have good knowledge of accounting and finance processes in general and an ability to apply these in the daily work.

You are fluent in English both verbally and written.
