What you will do:
You will work with all active online business markets and other markets where we have financial partnerships.  You will support our offering with financial analysis to facilitate decision making on a wide range of topics, including churn, exposure, and profitability per segment. You will be part of a team of 5-8 financial strategists and modelers that develop profitability models and forecasting tools to assess opportunities that improve Volvo’s portfolio value, while improving our customer’s experience and loyalty.  You will with limited information and require a structured approach as we evolve and grow our products and offers. Your further responsibilities will be developing dashboards providing transparency on key business metrics to measure and steer.

You will also work with an extensive cross-functional team that forms our modus operandi. With our stakeholders, you will work on high profile priority strategic projects and provide the analysis necessary to do so as the products evolve. There will be extensive cross-functional cooperation with Pricing, Offer, and other departments involved in the business development.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will also:
-    Have a hands-on approach solving problems and creating trust in the business through providing accurate data that we collect about our business. 
-    Own the KPI reporting used for measuring and tracking performance
-    Direct experience building models, financial evaluations and strategic recommendations
-    Prepare material and present findings to senior leadership teams

You will be able to create and communicate compelling financial stories based on analysis in a clear and concise manner.  You are a good communicator, building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. 

Specifically, we anticipate that you have solid experience in most if not all of the following:
-    6+ years of diversified financial management experience, including strategy, forecasting, financial planning, business control or risk management.
-    5+ years of experience and interest in robust financial analysis, reporting, benchmarking or modelling and communicating the resulting complex insights in written and oral presentations. 
-    Direct to consumer experience, asset management a plus
-    Demonstrated experience building something new and not just maintaining existing processess
-    MBA, Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in finance, financial econometrics, computer science, mathematics or another relevant

Desirable qualities
People who have a passion for sustainable mobility, knowledge of the automotive and mobility industries, and understanding of international trends and conditions in financing of depreciable consumer goods and luxury goods sectors would be an advantage. Experience in organisations undergoing digital transformation in finance, fintech, auto fintech, structured fleet financing, automotive aftermarket, Consulting, investment, or technology leadership experience
