Job Summary
Finance & Supplier Management (FSM) is an organisation responsible for all procurement within Tetra Pak. Within FSM, Supplier Management (SuM) is responsible for procuring all materials except those used in our packaging material, straws, openings and closures. Amongst the SuM procurement assortment are all articles and parts used in our filling and processing equipment which will come in contact with food. All these articles, components and part are procured under strict control to meet regulatory Food Safety laws and requirements.
For every article, component, part we buy we request and collect from each supplier a document in which the supplier certifies compliance to these Food Safety laws and requirements. These declarations of compliance (DoCp) documents need to be managed, updated and renewed on a regular basis.
We are now looking for a person who can lead the collection and management of these DoCp for a portion of the assortment. This person should preferably be an expert in materials & part in Food Contact (mpFC) from a regulatory perspective.
The position is permanent and located in Lund, Sweden and reports directly to the Director Quality & Digitalization. In this role you will, together with your colleagues working as Food safety experts, have the opportunity to work both with equipment and packaging material related challenges.
What you will do
As an “mpFC Expert” you will develop Tetra Pak’s way of working with compliance documentation for materials and parts in food contact. A substantial part of your job will also be to request and collect the declaration documents from our suppliers. This often encompasses an element of clarifying or “teaching” the suppliers on what exactly we need to have included in the declaration documents. To this end, you will support the Supplier Managers during their procurement activities.
You will focus on:
Requesting and collecting Declaration of Compliance documents from suppliers
In addition, requesting Hygienic Declarations, Substance Information lists and Allergen declarations as and when required
Supporting the Supplier Managers and the Category Managers in their effort to procure and strategize around the procurement of materials and parts in food contact
Improving the way-of-working related to mpFC including spreading the knowledge around roles and responsibilities within SuM and towards other organisations we collaborate with
Close collaboration with our Food Safety expert colleagues in Stuttgart, Germany

We believe you have
Extensive experience from working with regulatory compliance (mpFC)
A university degree in Food Technology including Hygienic design with an insight into regulatory compliance, is seen as a merit
Experience in ISO22000 and BRC GS Packaging Material is also considered a merit
An excellent command of English, both written and spoken is required.
Other spoken language is considered as a merit. Swedish language skills are considered a massive merit.

You possess very good interpersonal skills, radiate natural authority and are a strong communicator in different hierarchical settings.
