Senior Design Forging Engineer
Job Description:
As a forging engineer, you will be part of the company's design department, which consists of seven employees. In this role, you will have close dialogue with, among others, customers' development departments, purchasers, and the company's marketing department. You will be involved in the entire process from the quotation stage to the industrialization of products. This includes designing and drafting forged components for customers, as well as designing forging tools and handling equipment for the production of drop forging using CAD, 3D, and 2D. At least four of the application mentioned down below is a must to master for this role.
You will also provide support to internal and external customers and participate in product and process development.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, with previous experience in CAD design and/or working with FEM calculations. The position requires senior-level expertise in the development and design of forged products and at least 5 years of experience in this field. Experience in manufacturing sectors is viewed as an advantage.
As a person, it is important that you are innovative, detail-oriented, and enjoy working cross-functionally.
Language Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of German is a plus.
