Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Are you an experienced Front End developer with a lot of energy? Are you self-going but still a team-player? Then we need you!
Scania Sales Portal is a business-critical application for the Scania sales organization in which quotations are made for trucks, buses and services, with high demands on uptime and technical sustainability. Sales Portal is made up of three teams with 4-6 developers, a Scrum Master and a Product Owner in each team. We are now looking to add a senior resource for maintaining and improving the existing solutions, paying off technical debt while enforcing a sustainable architecture and improving our end-to-end test solution. You will work in an agile team where code reviews, testing and pair programming are an integral part of our way of working.
Required skills:
• Proficiency in Angular 2+ development
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Professional working experience with unit testing
• Professional working experience with Git
• Professional working experience with Redux or similar state management patterns
Advantageous experience:
• Experience with end-to-end testing
• Experience with DevOps (primarily CI/CD setups)
• Experience with micro frontends
• Experience with UX work
Who are you?
You are a curious, senior or mid-senior frontend developer with an interest in the continuous development of yourself, your colleagues and your department. While dedicated to team collaboration you are also self-going with experience of driving initiatives on your own. Scania being an international company it is expected that you are comfortable expressing yourself in oral and written English.
