Irisity is a software company with a 40+ workforce developing real-time video analytics powered by machine learning. About the role
Irisity is looking for a frontend developer for the continuous improvement of their products. Your work will cover web-based user interface development for all aspects of their systems, including real-time video display for alarm central operators, portals for configuration and health monitoring of thousands of cameras across the world. You will work closely together with UX designers, backend developers and machine learning researchers, making sure their entire system is coherent, stable and easy to use.
Their R&D department consists of agile teams working closely together and contributing to several aspects of the system. Here you will find a computer vision and machine learning team working alongside a group of system architects, designers and software developers. There is plenty of energy to go around and a strong sense of community. Individual freedom is highly valued within the company culture.
Irisity’s software is packaged into a complete cloud-based SaaS platform marketed towards large global customers and with thousands of cameras connected.
Who are they looking for?
To be qualified for this role, they expect you to have extensive experience in developing the frontend parts of complex web applications. They also expect you to understand how a complete web stack application works, including the interplay with backend parts, APIs and databases.
When it comes to personal qualities, they expect good communication skills and initiative, with the ability to work closely together with product owners and UX designers, making sure their user interfaces match the expectations of customers.
Qualifications:
MSc or BSc in software engineering, web design or similar
At least 3 years of experience in developing the frontend parts of large-scale complex web applications (multi-locale systems with thousands of users and complex business logic)
Excellent knowledge in HTML/CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript
Professional experience from modern web frameworks, such as React
Experience in frontend testing (cross-browser, multiple languages etc), backend development or other related software development work are very meritorious.
Great skills in the English language is a requirement and good Swedish skills is an advantage.
