Your future team
We have several positions open and depending on your profile and interest we offer challenges in two different teams:

Maybe a team that focus on a cloud-based solution?
This team develops a cloud-based management solution for Axis' network speaker system. This is a relatively new product/solution area (https://www.axis.com/sv-se/products/audio) within Axis New Business with many exciting new use cases that need to be solved. Our customers are very interested in our Audio solution and are waiting for this type of functionality and give us good feedback.

Are you interested in web applications?
we have the perfect position for you in a team that develops web applications for an End-to-End Axis solution. This solution combines AXIS products such as cameras, door controller, intercoms, speakers and more. All inside one application to have a complete security solution with powerful insights by using the data available from all the products, to give value back to our users.

Both teams are reaching our goals together and knowledge sharing is essential for our success.

Your role
You will play an important role writing well designed, efficient, scalable, readable and testable code.
You will also make use of coding standards, code reviews, documentation and testing to ensure quality. Continuous sharing and spreading of knowledge to your coworkers through tech talk, pair programming and mob programming is a daily part of the work.

It´s important you take an early part in feature investigations and pre studies to evaluate technical solutions to problems and you definitely have a say in how to solve upcoming problems. You will be an active member in a small agile team taking part in all the agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, refinement, and retrospective.

Who are you?
You have a genuine interest in web development, new technologies and you enjoy exploring new areas. You are confident in your competence but at the same time realize that you´ll always have more to learn. You enjoy working unpretentious in a tight team and in that way learning from- and sharing your expertise to your talented colleagues. We really hope you share our passion for modern technical solutions and knows how to channel that interest to be able to both finalize and deliver incrementally. A sense of responsibility for the work you deliver is very important. You make use of reviews, coding standards, tools and your own testing to ensure that you deliver with quality.

We see that you have previous experience from small agile teams and working in close collaboration with UX-designers to create the best possible user experience. If you have experience from development projects using cloud services (e.g AWS and/or Azure), test driven development or from fullstack it´s a plus.
To be able to contribute we see that you have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role. You are very comfortable in Typescript and React. Maybe you have a Bachelor or master´s degree within a relevant area? Are you also familiar with any of Apollo GraphQL, Node.js or Yarn? then that would make us very happy!
