Job Description
As Senior Fuel Cell Systems Engineer you will be a part of Fuel Cell System Team that has focus to ensure technology and integration readiness i.e., functionality and quality of the fuel cell system developed and delivered by our technology partner. The team develops a technology platform for trucks, construction, and marine application.
This role is primarily focusing (but not limited to) on safeguarding quality and reliability of the fuel cell system. You will use typical Volvo quality tools and activities to identify and reduce the probability of uncertain events or maximize the potential of opportunities provided by them. In the early phase of the development you will proactively support our lead engineers in setting the quality targets for our systems and defining the validation procedure at the technology partner and on the vehicles. In the later phases of the development, you will follow up on the quality status of the fuel cell systems, installed worldwide in our project and customer vehicles. You will scan the issues, prioritize and together with lead engineers and fuel cell partner propose actions to solve quality problems.

You will ideally be MSc in a relevant engineering subject, with several years of experience in development of fuel cell systems and their integration in vehicle powertrain topologies. For this role product development experience is a must.
