Virtual Training Solution (DI CS FA VTS) is part of the Business Unit Customer Service within Siemens Digital Industries, which is a global and world-leading provider of digital transformation to the industry and offers a comprehensive portfolio of integrated hardware, software and technology-based services for manufacturing companies worldwide.

Our solution is a perfect complement to the physical training, and our users will have a better retention rate, improved quality by doing lesser mistakes in the assembly process. Our main product Creator is our authoring tool and can generate output to different platforms like a desktop, web, VR and AR application. The training platforms are easy to use and has gamified experience which gives a seamless and fun way to learn the work instructions.

In the role you will be the main responsible for development of our web application portfolio. You will have the opportunity to incorporate your ideas and solutions where you will work in close collaboration with head of R&D and Product Manager. You will be part of the whole development lifecycle with strong focus on customer and usability.

Your tasks will be

• Development

o Develop new features and products primarily in the web portfolio

o Design, structure and maintain API, services, and overall architecture

o Continuously assess and use the most appropriate technical solution with the intention of high quality and scalability 

o Close collaboration with the Product Owner design, plan and implement new features

• Security and IT

o Ensure that our solutions fulfill all the security aspects

o Setup and maintain servers internally and hosted for customers

o Backup infrastructure and process

o Be part workstream regarding security and IT 

Who are you?

• You completed a data engineering degree and have collected at least 5+ years of full stack development

• Speak English fluent

• Driven and self-propelled

• Have a growth mindset to learn more

• Not afraid for new challenges

• Collaborate with your team to design and implement new features

• Backend: C#, .Net

• Frontend: Javascript (React)

• Database: SQL

• Azure cloud platform
