Senior Fullstack developer to Scania IT

To this exciting, dynamic, and diverse environment, we are now looking for a Senior Fullstack developer to the Contracted Services IT team.

What to expect 

You will join one of Contracted Services development teams as Fullstack developer. We work with exploring and developing web solutions to support our Sales & Services departments with Scania Contracted Services business. We are involved in the entire system development process, from concept development to implementation and production. The team is responsible for development and maintenance of current and future IT services that support Scania’s Contracted services process. 

You will work in close cooperation with other developers, scrum masters and product owners. Way of working is agile, and teams often do mob-programming to spread knowledge and learn from each other. Team autonomy is high, meaning decisions are made by the team whenever possible. You will be involved in the whole development process from requirements, development, testing and release management.

In addition we highly value your:  

- Good knowledge of microservice architecture.  

- Good understanding of different Version Control Systems  

- Good knowledge of dev tools, MS Visual Studio, MS Code and Rider (MySQL Workbench is an advantage) 

- Proficiency in developing, deploying, customizing and integrating.  

- Technical background working with Microsoft .NET technologies 

- Fullstack experience with focus and preference on backend. (.NET Core and Entity Framework Core) 

- Experience in Unit testing  

- Working knowledge of database development, preferably with MySQL. 

It’s a plus if you also have: 

- Experience in Cloud Services (AWS or Azure) 

- Frontend experience, TypeScript and React  

- Experience of CI/CD automated pipelines in Gitlab.

Location 

Scania headquarter is located less than 40 km south of Stockholm city. It is easily accessible by regional train, commuter train, bus or car. Scania's own bus line, Scania Job Express, goes from Stockholm city directly to Scania in Sodertalje. However we work from wherever we can be awesome, combining work from home and office depending on teams need.
