To take our company to the next level with data driven insights and reporting, we're now looking for two high-caliber Senior Business Analysts to our Data Office – one to focus primarily on Business Performance related metrices such as Sales & Pricing and Business Development and one to focus more on People & organizational related metrices and KPIs within HR incl EHS and organizational development. Your mission
As our Senior Global Business Analyst focusing primarily on our Organizational metrices within people HR, EHS etc, your overall mission is to support Sandvik Machining Solutions and our Divisions globally with best-in-class business reporting methods, services, and analysis covering our major data and information related to that area and wider. In this role you work in close partnership with our VP Human Resources and the SMS HR management team and ensure that all reporting, intelligence, and analytics needs are met. You advise, guide, consult with stakeholders with your findings and create bridges between Business Performance and Workforce development. Together with the team, you make sure to take our company to the next level with data-driven insights and reporting related to our most important resource – our people.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Extracting data
Modeling data
Subsequent reporting and analysis
Driving assigned projects
Building up standard processes
Developing and modifying functional reporting and analysis tools
Consultation and advice
In addition, you regularly work to enable and improve how we work and understand data – monitoring and benchmarking of reporting usage and lifecycle management – information to use when implementing new systems and services.
You report to the Head of Business Data and Information, located in Australia. This role is flexible within Europe, and we apply a flexible work schedule (within reason) due to multiple time zones and a spread-out team. Some international travel to support the business is included in the job.
About you
To be successful in this position, you have an interest in analysis and a specific passion for people metrics and organizational development. You hold a Bachelor of Art, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Business degree in a related area of disciplines, and it’s a big plus if you have certification in Data Analytics and Data visualization. You have extensive and relevant work experience, and a thorough understanding of people data analysis and reporting. Most likely, you’ve worked as a business analyst, business consultant, or business controller. You have strong, proven technical experience in Power BI, Azure and Office 365, including DAX development and Reporting & Warehousing solutions. Having insights into HR including EHS and global data privacy laws, GDPR, information security are considered advantageous as well as operational experience with HR systems such as Workday.

You enjoy spending some time in the spotlight making pedagogic and inspiring presentations. Also, you enjoy interacting with customers and have a natural talent for building solid relationships with people from various cultures.
