Our Alfa Laval Micro heat exchanger offers unique opportunities to recover heat from waste streams and reuse it for electrification or heating purposes. We are offering the market a great way to save energy. In fact, the more Alfa Laval Micros installed in the world, the better it looks for the energy challenges we all have.
Alfa Laval Energy Division started to commercialize the Alfa Laval Micro in the land-based energy sector around two years ago. This decision was based on a clear plan and a strong demand for good heat recovery solutions in the industry. In this role, you will lead the sales and business development activities for our unique Alfa Laval Micro product in the Energy sector. The product range is still in an early stage of commercialization and so far the market recognition has been excellent. Your job will be to take this further and to establish the Alfa Laval Micro as a leading heat recovery product in the market.
You will be part of the central Equipment sales team in Business Unit Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers. The successful candidate will have a background and knowledge of heat exchanger sales into the industry, and a proven track record of successfully developing sales and customer relations. You will be working with our sales companies to develop sales primarily to advanced system builders or OEMs. You will be having frequent dialogues directly with customers and advice on technical solutions.
About the job
As Senior Global Sales for the Alfa Laval Micro, you will drive the business development and sales activities of the product to it’s intended target groups. Together with the technical team in Alfa Laval Aalborg, and our sales companies your job is to identify and approach new target customers. By presenting our unique technology and its value proposition you will follow the sales cycle all the way to established supply agreements.
Your responsibilities will, among other things, include:
Sales and business development for the Alfa Laval Micro in all land-based Energy applications
Train, coach and join our sales company colleagues in the daily sales work
Dialogue directly with OEM customers and be the central representative
Cooperate with the technical team in Alfa Laval Aalborg to secure that we keep the competitive advantage and secure a good manufacturing capacity and footprint.
By understanding the customer needs; secure good sales tools and promotion material
Engage in industry related forums and drive our agenda within those forums.
Create and conduct presentations to the industry in conferences or in webinars

Who are you?
You have a record of successfully developing sales in an international business-to-business environment with experience from value selling. You have a strong drive and good commercial skills. You enjoy working and winning as a team. You are experienced and seasoned in sales and business development, and you run independently with your plans and activities.
Practicalities
The position is preferably based in Lund, and you will report to the Head of Equipment Sales.
You can travel 50-70 days per year
