At Epidemic Sound we are reinventing the music industry. Our carefully curated catalog, with over 35,000 tracks, is tailored for storytellers, streaming services, and in-store soundtracks. Countless clients around the world, from broadcasters, production companies, DSPs, and YouTubers rely on our tracks to help them tell their stories. Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. Headquartered in Stockholm, we’re spread across offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Seoul, Hamburg, and Amsterdam. We’re growing fast, have lots of fun, and are taking the music industry with us.
We are now looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to help us ensure that the design team promotes the vision of the company through high-quality graphic content.
How you will make an impact
In the role of Senior Graphic Designer, you are one of the more senior members of the team. You are reliable and self-going. For you, it is obvious you are responsible for managing all your projects, from start to finish. You have no problem handling bigger projects by yourself in a structured way, where you make use of your experience to effectively understand the project at hand.
Who you are
You are a natural team player. You are actively guiding and leading other team members within different projects. You have a great way of handling feedback and you always have constructive and strategic reasoning behind it. You are a stellar communicator and get to guide and support stakeholders around the organization in design and brand production.
The senior designer always has brand strategies and implementation on top of mind. You act like an advocate for the brand identity in all the projects you’re embarking on and are seen as a design expert within the company at large.
All team members within the creative team are a part of maintaining and developing the visual identity of Epidemic Sound. The senior members of the team may be the ones leading this development together with executive decision makers and management.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Part of leading visual identity development
- Act as a brand identity expert within the company and toward external stakeholders
- Help and support other team members with feedback and guidance
- Produce artwork for streaming platforms
- Branding of composers/artists
- Produce graphic and branded content and material
- Concepts for more comprehensive projects (eg. Showreels, project identities)
- Contribute to team OKRs to ensure initiatives, processes, and programs are achieved
- Stay up to date with trends and best practices within the field
- Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities may be assigned at any time.
Qualifications:
- Design degree (post-secondary education)
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience within this field
- Portfolio showcasing width of skills
- Working experience within the Adobe Suite
- Aptitude in design (form, color, typography, layout - you know the drill)
- Media communications theory foundation
