Senior Group Accountant to Camurus!

About the position
Perido is looking for a Senior Group Accountant for our client Camurus. They are a Swedish research-based pharmaceutical company focused on the development and marketing of differentiated and innovative medicines for the treatment of severe and chronic diseases. This position is based at the Headquarters in Lund.
Your daily tasks
As the Senior Group Accountant, you are expected to work in different areas. This includes general accounting, tax aspects and group consolidation. Here follows a list of what your workdays will include:
Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the group accounting activities including Accounting for leases, hedging contracts and employee benefit programs
Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
General accounting
Preparation and filing of returns regarding social security contribution, wage tax, VAT and EC sales lists to relevant authorities and in accordance to officially set timelines
Support in preparation of income tax returns
Monthly, quarterly, and end-year processes
Maintenance of accounts chart
Support in establishing and applying proper accounting methods, policies, and principles according to GAAP and IFRS
Ensuring accounts are tax and VAT legislation compliant and applied according to current accounting principles and that supporting documentation for tax deductibles is available
Managing ongoing outsourced activities for accounting and statutory reporting
Responsible for coordination of audits.
Support Group Accounting, Tax and Reporting Director GAAP accounting principles/IFRS rules discussion and implementation in Camurus group.
Participate in setting up, monitoring and revisions of Transfer Pricing model

Requirements
University degree in Economics or Finance. Solid experience in Accounting (IFRS) and consolidation in a multinational environment
Approximately five years’ experience from a similar position and/or equivalent experience from an auditing firm
Good general understanding of accounting IFRS principles
Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint in general and MS Excel in particular
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written English and Swedish (fluent)

Meritorious
Knowledge in D365 (our ERP) and Cognos (our consolidation system)

Contract type and hours
Full time. Permanent employment at Camurus. Start as soon as possible.
