Senior Group Financial Controller

As a Senior Group Financial Controller within Group Finance you will have the chance to work with varied tasks and a broad range of competencies. The main focus is to ensure quality and timeliness in Verisure’s external financial reporting, according to IFRS. You will be in close dialogue with the local finance functions in the 16 countries where we operate, as well as with Group Internal Control, Group Treasury, Group Tax, Group Legal and Group FP&A. You will report to our Director Group Financial Controller, which is based in Malmö. The Malmö office is the base for 14 of the Group Finance members. The Group Finance team in total consists of 45 members, based in Geneva, Malmö, Madrid, Portugal and Linköping.


Responsibility
As a Senior Group financial controller within Group Finance you will join the Group Finance Control team with responsibility for:
· Ensuring quality and timeliness in Verisure’s external financial reporting (IFRS)
The accounting principles of the group.
· Keep informed and analyse the effect on the Group accounts from new and amended requirements in applicable regulations (e.g. IFRS).
· Ad hoc accounting questions and analysis
· Purchase Price Allocations (when applicable)
· Together with the Group Treasury Team work on new or refinancing activities
· Main contact with the Group auditors.

What you bring
We are looking for a flexible, open minded, team player with an eye for detail to deliver with high quality on a timely manner. We also see that you have the following experience, qualifications and personality:

Experience and qualifications:
· Master degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business
5+ years of relevant experience from financial accounting or similar in a complex and international setting
Very good knowledge of IFRS regulations

· Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to navigate in an international/multicultural environment
· Good knowledge in Excel
· Fluency in English is mandatory, Fluency in Swedish is preferable and other languages is meriting.

Meriting:
· Experience as an auditor
· Working in an international or listed company
