About us
Grepit was founded as a spin-off of Luleå University of Technology and now has offices in Sweden (Luleå, Linköping, and Stockholm) and in the US (Palo Alto, CA). Our multidisciplinary team combines engineers within the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, and embedded systems.
We develop solutions and products for a broad range of customers from different sectors (automotive, mining, smart buildings/cities, etc.). Our business model is not to offer pure consultancy but to have a closer collaboration with all our customers, help them with their needs with in-house developed solutions, and see them succeed with their goals.

Description of the role
As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be a core member in different projects and will work in a team together with other hardware designers and software developers. As a senior, you will assist and join different projects and participate in product development meeting where you will understand the requirements, specifications and propose solutions. You will also overview younger developers in their designs and tests.
Your tasks:
Bring tasks and designs from specification to hardware design and testing, ensuring high quality and short delivery times
Support other developers providing feedback and reviewing their work
Bring your experience and ideas into the project and take decision towards reaching the goals of the project
Direct communication with customers and stakeholders
Your profile:
You have a Bachelor or Master Degree in electronics or similar. Alternatively, you have gained similar knowledge from work experience.
Significant product design experience in the design and layout of complex, mixed signal multi-layer PCB designs.
Solid knowledge of high-speed design techniques and experienced in the layout of high-speed multi-layer PCBs including micro-via technology and controlled impedance traces.
Solid experience with PCB design tools and simulations environment and competent practical
Practice with laboratory test equipment such as scopes, spectrum analyzers, assembly machines and such.
You have good communication skills, and are fluent in English (written and spoken)
Similar previous work experience.
You can work from our main office in Luleå, or one of our satellite offices in Sweden (Stockholm/Gothenburg/Lund/Linköping).
It is a plus if:
You have experience in Altium Designer as EDA/ECA tool
You have experience in LTSpice as simulation too
You have worked on projects using agile development methods like Scrum.
You have experience with onsite and offsite customer support.
You are flexible and willing to travel if required.
