Senior Hardware Engineer

About the role

Making the world-best battery management system's hardware

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

- Create the battery management system from its design concept to development plan, verification, production, service, maintenance, and end of life working closely with program managers, systems engineers, software engineers, supply chain, manufacturing, aftermarket engineers, etc.

- Document the hardware requirements from the product specifications - Design BMS circuits from the hardware requirements
- Implement cost effective and manufacturable design, working closely with supply chain and subsuppliers
- Schematics and PCB layout drawings of the circuit, taking into account the EMC, DFM and DFT requirements
- Provide, plan and document the hardware verification and results
- Value engineering of the existing hardware design and implement cost effective designs


Your profile

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or similar degree in engineering.
- At least five years (seven years for Bachelor's degree holder) of professional experience in analog and digital circuit design.
- Years of experience in battery management system design and verification is ideal.
- Experience in using Altium Designer tool is a plus.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must.
- Works in self driven, independent, accountable and responsible manner
- Able to work in large teams, flexible with others
- Enjoys challenging environment with entrepreneurial spirit
