About the job
We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to our talented R&D team. To build our renewable power solutions we need an expert within hardware design with focus on power converters, switches, BMS power electronics and power distributions. The role also includes participating in pre-studies of new applications and new technologies as well as supporting both internal and external stakeholders with technical expertise. The position is to be based either at our office in Oskarshamn or in Kista. Business trips will occur occasionally, both internationally and within Sweden.
Responsibility:
- Expert within AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC converters
- Design state of the art power converters in ranges 30V-1kV, 100W-500kW
- Design high-power solid-state switches
- Develop the team tools and methods together with the team
- Participate in process improvements and way of working
- Design modularized design blocks with re-use capabilities
- Act as mentor and technical lead for power designs
We see that you are:
A highly driven and pro-active person with a passion for hardware engineering, who constantly seeks new knowledge within the area.
You have a minimum of 10 years´ of experience from similar positions, and you have a good understanding of agile development as well as enjoys a fast-growing company environment.
Qualifications and experience:
- Deep experience within power electronics, switching, conversion and other related areas
- Preferably experience in batteries
- Experience using application specific software
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and in writing
- Speak and understand Swedish
- Relevant higher education
- Swedish work permit
