Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to the agile development team, wired HW communication, which is an expert team where you will get access to long term development opportunities in a dynamic environment. The wired communication area consists of a Hardware (HW) team and a Software (SW) team. Both teams have many deliverables which are developed through advanced engineering and research projects.
What you'll do:
● Designing and verifying the wired communication technologies through requirements, simulations, measurements and proof of concept from both a HW and SW perspective.
● Work in close collaboration with other teams and suppliers to make sure that the wired technologies are implemented according to our requirements.
● Work with Automotive Ethernet and the proof of concept for PowerOverDataline (PODL) but also other wired communication technologies might apply.
● Investigate and solve problems and work to optimize our products performance along with collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve our goals.
● Responsible for electronical interfaces of components towards surrounding environment, defining requirements on surrounding systems/components that are necessary to make the design work as intended.
● Interpret general requirements and the relevance of the requirements on the actual design.
● Verify the solution and recommend changes of the design regarding technology, quality, service, environment, market adaptation and rationalization.
Who you are:
● Have a holistic view and good mind for HW development, system architecture and design.
● Committed to high delivery quality and can proceed your work without having all facts at hand before you start.
● Minimum B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Computer, Physics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent education.
● Experience with various digital and analog electronics, such as Transceivers, Controllers, Microcontrollers, application processors and Automotive Ethernet.
● Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills of English language.
