Senior Hardware Engineer / Technical Team Lead

As one of our customers - Nira Control (http://nira.se/) is constantly growing within automotive and marine projects, they of course are looking for software and hardware engineers, but this specific position is directed more to senior person who will provide the company with knowledge and inspiration, guiding the way forward, both strategically and hands-on.

In terms of Hardware, "Nira" is looking for engineer with a keen interest to create electronic control units. You are going to work with customers and applications thru out the world, but the main market today is the EU, US, India, and United Kingdom. You will support your customers from specification via prototyping, certification to mass production.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will provide the company with knowledge and inspiration, guiding the way forward, both strategically and hands-on. You will lead technical initiatives in rapidly growing product portfolio and guide both new and current customers.

Example of work tasks:

- Develop specifications in collaboration with SW and Application engineers
- Responsible for delivering agreed product on time with the correct scope
- Development HW Simulations
- Schematic design
- PCB layout design
- Develop and perform functionality tests during the development process
- You will also make design releases including: - Schematics,
- Bill Of Material,
- Component configuration,
- PCB design,
- Design verification,
- Documented design strategy (HW design descriptions, calculations, etc.).





Who are we looking for:

- someone with a strong interest in electrical engineering that you have either acquired through studies or own projects
- who have good knowledge in embedded system hardware development
- who was working in a similar role within a company in the automotive / marine / power electronics / industrial industry
- who has an experience of establishing and maintaining customer relations
