For our consultancy operations we are looking for a HR Business Partner for an exciting assignment at Astra Zeneca in Gothenburg. The assignment starts October 3 and runs until June 30, 2017.
The role:
This key role reports to the Global HRBP and the role holder will execute self contained elements of the change programme and deliver key components of the People Plan.
This role presents an exciting development opportunity as the HRBP will primarily support the delivery of business change and act as a single contact point for complex HR policies issues within the change initiatives and Gothenburg hub. It provides the opportunity to directly support world-class scientists and leaders, links with the Science Units whilst also allowing individuals to connect and learn about Operations and the Supply Chain as a whole.
Underpinning the commitment to the role-holder's personal development, this post provides the opportunity to establish a degree of autonomy by leading segments of change and being able to choose elements of the overarching PTD People Plan to personally lead. An attractive feature of this role is the ability of the role-holder to scope, plan and execute new and innovative HR approaches within this changing and agile business unit while shaping personal growth opportunities.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
The HR Business Partner will:
* Participate in setting and executing goals against the strategic direction of the business area
* Be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary projects covering a number of areas, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, people management, employee relations and change management
* Liaise with senior management to understand business requirements and tailor specific solutions
* Work across the HR function and business, seeking to ensure interventions are integrated in a consistent way that supports AZ's organisational objectives
* Act as primary point of contact for HR policy issues and significant change initiatives.
* Coach, support, mentor and challenge managers in the application of HR policies and practices, providing advice and guidance on complex HR issues in order to minimise risk and financial exposure
* Drive and support the development and delivery of cultural change plans and interventions
Skills, Capabilities & Education:
This role has a global remit, and the HRBP must therefore demonstrate the ability to work across a number of global business functions, building key relationships with Global leadership teams in Enabling Functions, IT and Operations, HR Centres of Expertise and Country HR Partners. The following are also key skills/capabilities for the role:
* Business acumen
* Ability to analyse and interpret metrics
* Influencing skills
* HR or line management experience
In addition, this role provides an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop business partnering capability and exposure to an Operations and R&D environment.
As candidate, you have worked some years with both strategic and operative HR.
