Senior HR Manager - Employee Lifecycle Management

HR Operations has the purpose to deliver smart and simple operational HR services to the Volvo Car Group organisation in order to support the achievements of the overall Volvo Car Group Business plan. The main tasks for HR Operations is to provide information, tools, consultancy service and guidance to managers, employees and HR colleagues in the following areas: Recruitment & manning, Learning, Global Mobility & international service, Travel, Payroll, Organisation and personnel data registrations and HR Applications (systems and reports). HR Operations is also responsible to drive continuous service improvements and to support implementation of HR projects.
We are now looking for another great leader to join our management team and head up the employee lifecycle function. As Senior HR Manager your key responsibilities will be to ensure quality and a steady Employee Lifecycle by performing both standard and more complex tasks related to e.g. recruitment administration, onboarding, transfers, promotions and ending of employment. We see that you will take an active role in the Employee Lifecycle Team. You will also have the responsible of leading, developing and inspiring the team to reach high engagement and performance.
Main responsibilities
* Develop, coach and inspire a team of approx 15 employees and ensure that they have the right capabilities to deliver their part in the people strategy - To become the employer of choice
* Communicate and consult with internal customers regarding employee lifecycle policies and procedures to ensure understanding and compliance
* Recommend enhancements, improvements and simplifications to existing processes and procedures based on feedback from customers
* Be a strong and creative mind in the global HR operation management team
* Optimise the recruitment process by standardise and simplify to decrease lead times and increase customer satisfaction
* Develop Key Performance Indicators and follow up on them
* Ensure professional and friendly support to customers e.g. candidates, managers, employees and suppliers
* Continue to actively work with Volvo Car Culture and make sure that all team members act in line with the HR Operations principles
* Be an active player in implementing and improving HR applications
Required qualifications
* University Degree, or equivalent.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken

* High integrity with the ability to handle confidential information
* Service oriented with customer and quality focus
* Strong ability to organise multiple tasks, structure, plan and get things done
* Communicate and collaborate very well with others
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate statistics into action points
* Strong and proven leadership skills with ability to inspire and create meaning, motivate and challenge
