Join us as Senior HW Design Engineer within the new Power Electronic ART. We are responsible for the development of state of the art power electronic system solutions from on-board chargers to DC/DCs.
The newly created Power Electronic ART will deliver power electronics for all derivatives of electric propulsions within Vehicle Propulsion. This includes development of Electric Drive inverters, on-board chargers and DC/DCs from concept to industrialization phase. 
What you will do
We are now looking for a Senior HW Design Engineer to strengthen our Power Electronics System group working towards future platforms. The position will be part of a new inhouse design team consisting of a Product Owner, Scrum Master and HW designers. 

As a Senior HW Design Engineer you will design and build DCDCs and OBCs in order to bring new solutions to market utilizing the latest technology. 
The role includes hands on testing and troubleshooting. Leading advanced engineering project within the area and contacts with other engineering departments, CAE teams and manufacturing engineering within our company as well as with external suppliers are included in the role.

Your key tasks
•    Design state of the art electrical HW components, e.g. on-board chargers and DC/DCs with the use of the latest simulation tools.
•    Hands on work in lab with Power Electronics and EMC
•    Balance and optimize electrical HW design against electrical requirements
•    Leading or contribute to advanced engineering projects

You and your skills
It is meritorious if you have good insight in agile development. 
•    MSc degree in Electrical engineering or similar
•    Experience working as an electrical design engineer
•    Experience with design and analysis of power conversion topologies
•    Experience with power semiconductors: MOSFETs, IGBTs, etc and different technologies like SiC and GaN
