Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior HW Development Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Analyze product requirements to meticulously break them down and craft specifications, ensuring alignment with customers’ stringent expectations for quality and safety.
Capture requirements in specifications, allowing room for optimization by hardware suppliers while maintaining adherence to essential criteria.
Collaborate with partner Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) to develop new hardware (HW) modules: conceptualize technical requirements, drive HW design, lead design reviews encompassing Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Design for Test (DFT), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), etc.
Oversee comprehensive testing, verification, validation, and thorough documentation for newly developed HW modules.
Lead or contribute actively to HW systems integration, EMC compliance, electrical safety, type testing, and the pivotal New Product Introduction (NPI) phase.
Ensure the continued maintenance and support of existing HW modules, implementing strategies such as Cost Reductions (Cost Cuts) and End-of-Life (EOL) measures.
Play a central role in HW development projects within an international matrix organization, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams spanning Hardware, Firmware, Software, Test, Supply Chain, EMS, Quality, and Production.
Contribute proactively to the ongoing enhancement of operational methodologies, consistently seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.

What you bring:
Bachelor or Master in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or an equivalent field.
Minimum of 6 years of robust experience in Hardware (HW) Development, preferably with a strong grounding in agile and lean methodologies.
Expertise in at least one specialized HW discipline, such as analog design, EMC, electrical safety, and more.
Exhibit hands-on proficiency in electronics measurement, EMC compliance, testing, and systematic debugging.
Engage in effective communication with external partners, project leaders, diverse departments, and suppliers, leveraging openness and directness to facilitate collaborative success.
Prior experience in supplier management is advantageous.
Possess innate problem-solving acumen and thrive when confronting novel challenges.
Excel as a collaborative team player with a holistic perspective, characterized by unwavering integrity and the ability to manage dynamic and evolving targets.
