Senior IAM Architect - Digital Capabilities & Technology (DCT)

DCT is responsible for providing premium digital capabilities and high-quality technology solutions to all of Tele2. The Digital Trust teams are part of DCT, architects aligned with security can look forward to unlimited potential for growth, learning and engaging work to both form and take a part of the realization of the security target architecture pre-empting the needs of next-gen telecom services.

As the Senior IAM Architect you are expected to take the lead in defining and refining the target architecture for IAM as well as supporting other architects and teams in the ever evolving cybersecurity work.

IAM is recognized at Tele2 as a critical part of the core infrastructure. IAM being a critical capability for Tele2 means that you in your role as the Senior Architect in the space have the ability to thrive in a diverse environment with many stakeholders, fast-paced DevOps realization of solutions and evolving prioritizations.

About the job
You will be part of the Digital Capabilities and Technology (DCT) organization and your role is that of an IAM SME and architect who can provide IAM- and security expertise to support ongoing projects and initiatives by improving designs, verifying architectural requirements and propose improvements within DCT and other units.

As an experienced and skilled IAM professional you will have the opportunity to provide leadership and shape and grow the IAM team’s competence development in line with the architectural direction. In a very real sense, you will be able to realize the IAM target architecture.

In close collaboration with the Enterprise Security Architect and SIEM Architect you will also have a joint responsibility for the enterprise security architecture, working towards a common goal.

Responsibilities include:
IAM Target Architecture and roadmap
Contribute to the architectural runway for Tele2’s agile delivery streams
Act as a senior advisor and SME for the Tele2 IAM teams.
Propose design improvements to IAM services and connected managed systems, striving for improved overall security and efficiency.
Provide input to other teams/projects/initiatives requiring IAM architecture support.
Collaboration and alignment with other architect groups within Tele2 to ensure a holistic and cohesive IAM and security architecture.


Success factors
To be successful in the role as Senior IAM Architect we believe the following experience and characteristics describe you:
IAM architecture and implementation experience from multiple companies.
Expert/SME knowledge of IT- and Information security concepts and technologies.
Experience with multiple IAM-product stacks.
Experience from multiple industries, and telecom in particular.
Experience with on-premise and cloud IAM architecture.
Experience in designing and leading implementations of IAM solutions.
Experience with Master Data and HR implementations and processes.
Certified in technical/enterprise architecture (e.g. TOGAF).
Certified in IT security (e.g. CISSP).

Someone who has the ability to describe and deconstruct problems and in a solution oriented way find a way forward.
Someone who can easily navigate complex discussions and propose pragmatic solutions and direct efforts towards realizing Tele2’s strategic goals.

Comfortable with conducting presentations and will not hesitate to lead meetings or hold trainings.
A strong communicator with an easy way of communicating with different people in the organization

Confident is your linguistic skills, fluent in both Swedish and English.
