What you'll do

The role Senior Buyer is part of Polestar’s global Indirect Procurement (IDP) organization. You have the responsibility to drive the work of securing short & long-term sourcing strategies, identify new supplier/technologies and the development of existing supplier relationship.

Polestar grows continuously and we are therefore searching for Senior Buyers within the following areas:

Brand & Marketing, Media, Spaces and Retail

Digital / IT, Corporate Services, Professional Services

You will also:

- Create and implement procurement strategies together with Stakeholders


- Negotiate and maintain commercial and legal agreements.


- Review purchase requisitions and identify and select contract/suppliers in accordance with defined strategies and agreements.


- Track key performance indicators on supplier and stakeholder contract compliance; define and take corrective actions to improve contracts compliance and continuously track supplier performance on quality and cost.


- Have a close dialogue and collaboration with the stakeholders for upcoming projects, to make sure to achieve common targets


- Support stakeholders with procurement questions and issues


- Create purchase orders


Who you are

- Proven experience (at least 3 years) within Procurement.


- Cross functional and a global mindset


- Thorough understanding of the procurement process and strategic sourcing


- Excellent knowledge of MS Office packages


- Learn on the fly, can quickly be on top of terminology, our way of working


- Strong social abilities. Quickly understand stakeholders needs and be service minded


- Nimble way of working. Always ready to change your way of working in order to find best solution


- Perseverance - try over and over again until we find a solution without giving up


- Positive mindset - Nothing is impossible!


- BSc (or higher) in Business, Economics or Technical discipline from a university degree or equivalent institution
