Senior Infrastructure Specialist to Nordea

Nordea Group Treasury IT Solutions is currently building the future solution for reporting and analysis as part of the Nordea Common Data Warehouse. One part of the future solution is an efficient platform based on Teradata. In this role you will become a key player in delivering a truly strategic initiative in Nordea, thus the expectations will be high on your ability to contribute.

As Senior Infrastructure specialist you will manage the infrastructure set-up and deployment, maintenance and support of the Teradata based data delivery and storage platform, together with a team of 3 senior developers.

As Senior Infrastructure specialist you will manage the DataWareHouse infrastructure, secure deployment of releases, maintenance and support of the Teradata & Unix environments, coordinate and manage the infrastructure team.

We are working in a multinational environment with cross-border colleagues and outsourcing partners. The business language is English and competencies in building relationships and good communications skills are valued.

The position is based in Stockholm.

Experience and background
In order to be successful you need to have a broad experience in IT, including architecture and infrastructure development. You have good experience of working with data warehouse solutions and related infrastructure components i.e. Unix servers, databases, job schedulers.
We expect you to have a higher IT or engineering education as well as and a basic degree of business understanding i.e. services, processes and strategies, and focus on business value creation.
Written and spoken English on professional level is expected.

Personal qualifications
You are well organized and work productively in an environment where focus on delivering according to deadlines is essential.
You have high cognitive skills, and can work with complex issues. Working with our IT-strategy with focus on data warehouse solutions, you have the long-term perspective in mind, and you combine action and the ability to “make things happen”.
