Senior Insurance Advisor, Luxembourg

The Ikano Insurance Advisory team is looking for a new colleague for our office in Luxembourg (also Head Office of Ikano S.A.) who will work as Senior Insurance Advisor strengthening the Advisory team. The insurance programs handled by Ikano Insurance Advisory are among the largest and most complex in Europe. Ikano Insurance Advisory SA, as part of Business Insurance, is engaged in all insurance advisory and intermediary aspects of our core clients; Ingka Group, Inter IKEA and Ikano. We are also supporting other customers belonging to the franchise family of the IKEA concept. We will have a team of 6 highly skilled insurance experts to fulfil these tasks and we have a global, hands-on responsibility. Located in the city centre of Luxemburg, we are supervised by the Commissariat Aux Assurances. We hold EU intermediary licenses for both life and non-life insurance.

As a key member of our Insurance Advisors team, the successful candidate will work closely with the customers and all relevant stakeholders in the insurance market. The role has a true global scope and we are working with the risks and insurance needs of our customers no matter where they are located.
Specifically, the Senior Insurance Advisor role will cover:
• Full responsibility for the Property Damage & Business Interruption, Terrorism and Supply Chain insurance programs.
• Client responsibility for one of the core customers but also geographical responsibility
• To provide highly qualified advice to our customers regarding property damage and business interruption insurance
• To negotiate, purchase, advise, administrate insurance coverage from the global insurance market and support on claims handling for these lines of business
 
We believe that you…
To efficiently take on this position, we believe you have:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the large corporate insurance segment.
• Profound knowledge and experience of intermediary or underwriting of global property damage and business interruption programs.
• Documented knowledge and experience implementing compliant insurance programs.
• Experience in supporting claims handling.
• High level of understanding of all aspects of non-life insurance lines (Property Damage & Business Interruption, CAR/EAR, Marine Cargo, Supply Chain insurance etc.).
• Fluency in Swedish and English.
