Banking Technology Quality Assurance (BTQA) are searching for an Senior IT / Test Analyst with a proven track record of being involved in complex Functional, Non-Functional and automation test management activities together with new test strategy. The role will involve proving operational excellence within testing with employees located across the globe. This includes responsibility for planning and following up, prioritising, delivering (designing and executing) and ensuring that executed tasks follows the given test frameworks based on regulations and standards.

You’ll join Banking Technology Quality Assurance (BTQA), where we are driving the QA work for Nordea Banking Technology. Our capabilities include:

Who you are
The role will involve proving operational excellence within testing with employees located across the globe. This includes responsibility for planning and following up, prioritising, delivering (designing and executing) and ensuring that executed tasks follows the given test frameworks based on regulations and standards.
You will need strong analyst skills while also being able to understand our processes and make sure that these are followed in our daily work. You have strong communication skills and broad experience from communicating status/results from both waterfall and agile test projects. We believe that it is necessary for you to be familiar with working in a complex environment with multiple streams cross multiple internal organisations, utilizing internal/external resources from different cultures and companies. You are a senior IT professional with several years’ experience of test assignments.
Your profile and background:
- Strong SQL / PLSQL skills or similar (database knowledge/test)
- Preferable TeraData/Hadoop/Oracle/SAS/SAP/MSSQL Knowledge - Knowledge of DWH and data drive testin
- Knowledge of test automation and creation of test cases for regression testing purposes
- Test execution & reporting excellence using tools such as Jira, TestRail, HP performance centre, HP QTP, HP UFT, HP QC/ALM, HP Sprinter, Soup UI, Selenium, JMETER
- Proven system integration testing experience
- Requirements review experience
- Hands-on experience in test design test execution & test reporting as well as test automation
- Data Warehouse Testing and Methodologies experience
- Knowledge of providing estimates for test effort
The qualifications you need:
- Bank & Finance Experience (GSIB bank preferably)
- Hands-on experience in test analysis, test design, test execution & test reporting
- Knowledge of ITIL v3.0
- Test Automation Frameworks, Functional & Non Functional Testing
- V-models & agile test approaches
- Business Intelligence & reporting solution – Business or Regulatory reporting solutions testing
- ISTQB Software Testing certification
When communicating, verbally and in writing, we are expecting that you can do so using English in an unhindered manner. Finally, you should be familiar with penetrating and understanding new, complex organisations by documenting and understanding current approaches, processes, organisation, tools etc. in order to together with QA management achieve a “step by step” improvement process in the QA area.
