SENIOR IT AND SECURITY ARCHITECT

The consultant's role will be to strengthen the bank's architectural function, largely through providing architectural knowledge in projects, but line work may also be required. By working as a solution architect but with an IT security viewpoint, the consultant will be able to bridge the gap between architecture and IT security. In addition to architecture, the consultant will work on a technical level with the bank's IT security solutions and will be a member of the IT security team. The consultant will collaborate closely with other architects, projects, and administration, as well as the information security function and other stakeholders within the bank and the group.
Because the consultant will be involved in a variety of situations and will be the face of IT security in these, it is also critical that the consultant has a high level of honesty.
Tasks include the following:
Within the bank's IT security sector, he is in charge of solutions.
With IT security experience, assist projects and management.
Develop and assess IT security solutions and act as a requirement setter for IT security skills.
Represent the bank in various IT security forums.
Competency prerequisites
Experience as a solution architect of at least 5 years is required.
Working with a holistic view of architecture and IT security in banking and finance is second nature to me.
Experience with solution architecture in high-performance, high-availability, and high-security environments
Certifications in the IT security industry (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or similar) are highly regarded.
Experience in banking and finance, as well as a thorough understanding of the legislation to which we are subject, is a plus. Experience working as an architect in a client organisation with a diverse set of stakeholders is a plus.
Being able to document architecture is a must.
Ability to assess and quality-assure supplier solution proposals
Strong communicator who can communicate solution suggestions to both business and IT.
Working on solutions with other architects is something that the company enjoys.
