We are now looking for a Senior IT Architect to provide architectural support and guidance within the area of Data Architecture and with Data Science & Advanced Analytics.

About this opportunity
Welcome to the Data, Finance & Risk Architecture team. We support and direct Nordea’s transformation by providing a holistic architectural view and structured understanding of the bank and its surrounding environment to enable the Customer Vision and the Business Strategy. As Senior IT Architect, you’ll play a valuable role in proactively drive the creation of the IT architecture needed to support and direct development initiatives.
What you’ll be doing:
* Be accountable for developing transition and target architectures that provide explicit guidance and steering for initiatives in the context of the data reference architecture and data roadmap
* Provide detailed solution design and architectural leadership for agile release trains that includes creation of content relating to business, application, data, process and technology architecture viewpoints and artefacts such as High-Level Design (HLD) artefacts
* The candidate must be able to articulate benefits and drawbacks of various design options and recommend solutions that deliver the most business value while limiting technical debt
* You’ll join a team of experienced architects that has a central role in providing an data architecture support and steer for the bank
The role is based in the Nordics or Poland.

* Communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation and explain complex concepts in clear and understandable ways to build understanding
Your experience and background:
* 4+ years of related work experience in the areas of Data Governance & Modelling, Business Intelligence, AI & Machine Learning
* 4+ years of related work experience with relational DBMS, big data including Hadoop and preferably Cloudera stack
* 2+ years of related work experience with AI platforms for Data Science, AI and Machine Learning Use Cases. Preferably IBM Cloud Pak for Data – Watson and/or AWS
* Demonstrated ability to drive development of target and transition architectures and to craft fit-for-purpose solution design content that provides explicit guidance for agile transformation initiatives
* Demonstrated experience with integration technologies, methods and architecture patterns to support batch, real-time and near-real-time data integration to support Data Science, AI and Machine Learning Use Cases
* Proficient with business analysis, software engineering, integration and orchestration, technical solution design, and risk and quality management
