CIO Office is the staff function within Group IT with the task to ensure governance and strategic transformation of IT in Volvo Car Group. CIO Office consists of a team of specialists covering different areas and we are now searching for a new Senior IT Contract Specialist.

The Senior IT Contract Specialist will be IT's expert in developing and aligning IT commercial terms and specifications to ensure quality IT deliveries from the contracted IT suppliers. The role includes documenting assignment specifications, requirements, supplier relationship procedures and agreements. You will also be the expert in understanding the commercial aspect of how contract assignments interact with Purchasing's terms and conditions. In this position you will be able to guide and support stakeholders in how to draft and develop assignments in order to secure quality of globally sourced IT needs. You will work closely with Volvo Cars IT Purchasing and Legal department to align and develop contract elements as well as participate in negotiations and in supplier reviews when your specific competence is required. Driving development of IT's Contract Management capabilities will be part of your responsibility.

Main responsibilities

* Together with Purchasing enhance and develop existing specification templates to facilitate IT's global needs
* Improve Group IT's Contract Management ability
* Ensure alignment of the specifications with legal terms and conditions
* Drive standardization of service level agreement (SLA) based services
* Participate in supplier negotiations when needed
* Providing legal support, primarily within the areas of general contract law
* Handling non- and medium complex matters independently and assuming the full responsibility in relevant parts of the business organisation
* Supporting more senior legal counsels in complex matters
* Providing internal legal training to the organisation and engaging in development of legal tools and templates and communication material

Required qualifications

* Master of law (Sw. Jur kand) with grades in the upper tier
* 4-5 years' of experiences in practising law, preferably at least two years in a law firm
* Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
* Experience with Contract Management
* Professional experience working with IT Contract Management is meritorious
* Supplier Management experience is meritorious
* Understanding of ITIL and service design is an asset
