We are now looking for a software developer to work in a close-knit cross-functional team with business people and other developers, and to build customer-facing and business critical solutions together. 
Developers with any level of professional software development experience are welcome to apply. In absence of professional software development experience, a relevant degree is required. Your job title and salary will be dependent on your current level of experience.

About this opportunity

Welcome to a high-performing team with a long track record of deliveries of high quality with high business impact over many years, developing and maintaining key applications for Personal Banking in Nordea. As a developer in our team you’ll play a valuable role in directly affecting important architectural and solution design decisions, and build important strategic solutions for Nordea.

In our area of responsibility, we build and maintain a wide variety of applications using a wide variety of different technologies. As part of a team, you will collaborate with business to design and build reliable, secure and maintainable customer-facing business critical solutions.

The role is based in Stockholm, however this team has embraced the post-pandemic hybrid office model and offers a great deal of flexibility in deciding when we'd like to meet at the office together or work remotely.

At Nordea we place great importance on keeping our skills up to date, and we provide opportunities for growth, learning and training to make sure we have the relevant competencies needed to deliver reliable, secure and maintainable solutions. If you are primarily a frontend or backend developer, you will have the opportunity to branch out and become a full stack developer if this is something you'd like to pursue. If you have a special passion for architecture, there are career development paths to become either a solution or enterprise architect in our organization.

Your experience and background: 
* Any level of professional software development experience, or a relevant degree
* Passion for creating reliable, secure and maintainable solutions
* Professional fluency in English
* Good collaboration skills
