About this opportunity

Welcome to the Backend Application capability team. We add value by supporting key projects and initiative within Group Functions Technology , GFT cluster, Nordea, with platform /software development competencies, such as Hadoop / Big Data, Oracle db, SQL, SAS, Java etc. We have a customer focused mindset and we value ownership, collaboration and knowledge high on our agenda. As Senior Big Data Developer, you will play a valuable role within this team.

Your role will be to work within your assigned project and where we practice SAFe way of working.
The role will be based in Sweden.

Your first assignment will be in the project Financial Crime and Analytics, FCIIA

What you’ll be doing:
* Deliver superior value to the bank by improving our solution within Financial Crime and Analytics, FCIIA.
* Drive the required development and technical changes implementation in the FCIIA train.
* Participate in major improvements and development tasks to support the own unit to add value and deliver according to targets.
* Proactively share own knowledge and IT competencies across borders to enable continuing strengthening of competencies.


You will join a team of experts with great experience and skills in the Big Data data integration and reconciliation areas where we learn from each other and grow together as team and individuals. The role is based in Stockholm.

Your experience and background:
* 3+ years of professional experience working as Tech Lead with team management and coordination
* Documented professional experience in Big Data using Hadoop and Cloudera
* Experience from Spark, Scala, Angular and the Elasticsearch product
* Professional experience in data warehousing and/or BI analytics development
* We believe that the right candidate has an academic degree in computer sciences, mathematics or engineering
* Proficiency in English


It’s good if you also have:
* Experience from Fraud Management

* Knowledge of the Quantexa product. If not you will receive training from us.
* Experience of DevOps
* Experience of working agile with Scrum and SAFe
