We are now looking for a Senior IT Operation Specialist (MDP) to join the Nordea Group Functions Technology Execution team in Stockholm. As part of Application Maintenance, we “run the bank” and ensure that the applications and IT services work today and continue to work in the future.

About this opportunity
You will play a valuable role in development and operations across the risk modelling solutions. In this team professionalism, team work and continuous learning are very much appreciated.
What you’ll be doing:
* You will be practicing BizDevOps, collaborating closely with business, development and other stakeholders.
* You will automate operations and drive continual service improvement, based on performance measures.
* You will be monitoring processes, analyzing data flows and running scripts to ensure service availability.
* You will provide technical expertise on complex technical issues and guide your team in solving problems.
* You will safeguard applications' accessibility, stability and compliance with internal and external requirements.
* You will handle IT operations in line with the best practices of ITIL, Lean philosophy and Agile principles.
* You will be responsible for all aspects of IT service delivery provided by application support team.
The role is based in Stockholm .

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
* Strong technical background with end-to-end exposure to system development lifecycle
* Understanding big data management technologies and business intelligence tools
* Technical competences including coding, scripting and working with development tools
* IT service management experience following incident and problem management in ITIL
* International exposure, working in multicultural environment with multiple vendors
* On a personal level, you are an easily approachable person who wants to work efficiently and likes interacting with different stakeholders.
Your experience and background:
* Excellent communication skills with a very good level of English
* SQL scripting and coding, preferably in MySQL taxonomy
* DataStage and the thorough ETL process understanding
* Scala programming experience (at least at entry level)
* Hive / Hadoop exposure (similar platform alternatively)
* Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Splunk, Docker, UC4
* Oracle (both troubleshooting data issues and database administration)
* SAP HANA expertise would be an additional, but very appreciated
